The American Theatre Guild, the largest not-for-profit touring Broadway presenter in the nation, has announced the lineup for 2026–27 Broadway in Toledo Series.
The series will include the Broadway touring productions of “The Bodyguard,” – Toledo North American tour launch and premiere – Oct. 15-18; The Book of Mormon,” Feb. 18-21, 2027; “Jersey Boys,” March 4-7, 2027; Mamma Mia! April 27-May 2, 2027 and the Toledo premiere of “The Outsiders, July 13-18, 2027.”

Featuring two shows currently lighting up the Broadway stages and two Toledo premieres, our lineup reflects both the future and the very best of today’s theater,” said Amy Hamm, president and executive director, The American Theatre Guild. “We’re proud to bring audiences Tony Award-winning shows, bold new stories, unforgettable performances, and the kind of world-class experiences that make The Stranahan a must-stop destination for Broadway.”
Toledo is the official site of the tech rehearsal and launch of “The Bodyguard’s” North American Tour. The tech rehearsal brings all the production elements together to work in harmony prior to the tour kickoff and includes integrating lighting, sound, set changes and special effects. As part of the tech rehearsal, the company will spend weeks in Toledo, becoming part of the community throughout the entire process.
