For years, they have been planning to hold a U.S. Constitutional Convention to change it to benefit billionaires and corporations.
Decades ago, there was this warning from Billy Graham, the chaplain for presidents: "It would disturb me if there was a wedding between religious fundamentalists and the political right. The hard right has no interest in religion except to manipulate it."
In other words, right wing religious are being used to get votes using the morality game that these politicians don't even believe in. This was proven by Trump who backtracked on his abortion stance because it was too politically risky.
