With a few exceptions, area townships, villages and schools in Wood County are asking voters on Nov. 3 to renew existing millage issues rather than asking for additional property taxes.

Todd Hecht and Jim Sass have been re-elected to the Ottawa Soil & Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors for a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2021.

Indictment issued
An Elyria, Oh. man has been indicted by the Ottawa County Grand Jury after being involved in a high speed vehicle chase in July and his links to a stolen car ring.

The legal dispute over the Lake Erie Bill of Rights has taken a turn with the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals ruling a lower court erred in dismissing a complaint filed by three Toledo residents.
