The Northwestern Water and Sewer District is proposing a project to extend a water line eastward from its operations center on State Route 582 and a sewer line north from the City of Bowling Green to the unincorporated area of Dunbridge near the Rt. 582/ I-75 intersection.

The Maumee Bay Country Quilters’ Guild will hold its March meeting Tuesday, March 1 at 6:45 p.m. at Northwood Church of God, 3375 Curtice Rd., Northwood.
Oregon City Council approved an agreement with Oregon on the Bay Regional Economic Development to allow the city to assign its land lease interests to the Oregon Economic Development Foundation as a first step to develop the former Kmart site as part of the city’s Downtown Center project.

Northwood Police Captain Jeffery Zahradnik has been named the new Chief of Police for the Northwood Police Department..
He replaces former Chief Thomas S. Cairl, who retired in July. Zahradnik has been serving as acting chief of police since then.
