The Woodmore boys wrestling team produced 203 points to easily top St. Mary C.C. (54.5) for the River Division title in the Sandusky Bay Conference Championship at Norwalk High School on Feb. 21.
While Tiffin Calvert (42) finished in third place, Northwood (28.5) and Gibsonburg (19) registered fourth- and fifth-place finishes, respectively.
Woodmore’s Landon Rich (175) took home the title in his weight class, while Aiden Cordy (126) and Michael Seeger (190) finished as runners up. Colton Roy (132), Lucas Caldwell (144), and Bailey Jendrzejak (215) won third place matches, while Bryce Ruch (113), Wyatt Thieroff (138), and Gavin Herrig (157) registered fourth place finishes.
D.J. Orcelletto took home fifth place, while Connor Herrig (285) delivered a seventh-place finish.
Gibsonburg’s Haydin Brown (215) took home sixth place in his weight class, while Nathaniel Chafin (144) finished in seventh.
Northwood’s Joseph Springer (120) tallied a runner-up finish, while Mason Carlo (113) and Mitchel Fowler (138) nabbed eighth-place finishes.
