Woodmore Local Schools appoints Dennis Mock as acting superintendent

The Woodmore Local School District Board of Education has announced the appointment of Dennis Mock as acting superintendent, effective June 1.

Mock brings extensive experience in educational leadership, most recently serving with distinction at Genoa Area Local Schools.

A respected and familiar figure within the region, Mock is known for his strong leadership, commitment to academic excellence, and ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, families, and the community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Mock back to the Woodmore community,” Andy Miller, President of the Woodmore Board of Education, said. “His return represents a major step forward for our district. Denny is a trusted and proven leader who understands the values and vision of Woodmore.

“We are confident in his ability to bring stability, inspire collaboration, and ensure our students and staff are well-supported during this time of transition.”

Mock’s deep familiarity with and passion for Woodmore, combined with his student-centered approach and steady leadership, makes him uniquely qualified to lead the district forward.
