He started every game of his four-year career (43 games) earning first-team all-league honors his last three seasons. Karchner helped the football team to state playoff berths in each of his last three years, including the first playoff win in program history in 1995.
Becky (Lee) Oberdick (Class of 1998) was the Suburban Lakes League Co-Player of the Year in softball her senior year --- one of only two players in school history to earn that honor. She tossed two no-hitters and one one-hitter her senior year along with hitting .408 to earn first-team all-district and first-team all-state honors. He finished his career with 1,047 points and is one of only two players in school history to earn league player of the year honors twice. He was the Suburban Lakes League Player of the Year in 1994-95 and 1995-96. He helped the basketball program win three SLL championships and compile a 43-13 league record. She helped the track and field team to runner-up league finishes all four years of her career and three district championships. She was a state meet qualifier in the 3200 twice, and she won the league title in 3200 in 2010. She was also the 1600 league champion the same season.
Mark Yoder (Coach) guided the girls cross country teams to probably the most successful four-year span in school history helping the Wildcat to three state titles (1992-94) and one state runner-up finish (1995). During that time, the Wildcat cross country teams won three regional team titles and four district and league championships. He served as the Woodmore boys/girls cross country coach for five seasons and was the boys/girls track and field coach for six seasons --- leading the girls teams to one state team championship and three other top five state finishes.
