Wayne C. Marble, age 86, of Oregon, Ohio passed away May 3, 2025 after a long illness and dementia at Parkcliffe at Northwood. He was born on June 14, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles Marble and Lucille Tagtmeyer. Wayne was a 1957 graduate of Waite High School where he excelled at playing basketball, football, baseball and bowling. He was recently inducted into the Waite High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
Following high school, Wayne proudly served in the United States Army. He retired in 1994 as a warehouse manager for Willis-Day Storage after 30 years of service. Wayne met and married his wife, Mary Lou Christiansen on November 24, 1978. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, and former member of CHAFA. In his spare time, Wayne loved to bowl, play softball and travel with his wife. He will be dearly missed by his family.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Lou Marble; children, Karen (Dan) Boening, and Kevin (Vicki) Marble; stepson, Gregg (Jayne) Boos; grandchildren, Heidi (Danijel) Raic, and Iain Marble; step-granddaughter, Tiffany (Jake Lockwood) Boos; sister, Denise Luettke; and brother-in-law, Pat Fox. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille McDaniel; father, Charles Marble, and siblings, Joyce Trzonkawski, Maureen Marble, James Marble and Sandra Fox.
Services were conducted on an earlier date. Burial was at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Faith United Methodist Church.
