Troy A. Willmeth, 59, of Elmore, OH passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Toledo Hospital. He was born December 18, 1966 in Toledo, the son of Ernest and Louise (Balliet) Willmeth, Jr. Troy graduated from Woodmore High School and he was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Surviving are his father: Ernest (Jody) Willmeth, Jr. of Elmore; brother: Jeffrey S. (Lesley) Willmeth of Genoa; sister: Cathie Willmeth of Genoa; step-brother: Nicholas (Rachel) McGrain of Fostoria; nieces and nephews: Ben Willmeth, Christopher Willmeth, Matthew Willmeth, Jackie Emch, Dakota “Codie” Willmeth, Arreonna Turner, Lucian McGrain, Amelia McGrain. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father: Louise and Tex Sleek.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 19550 W. St. Rte. 51, Elmore, OH where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, August 8, 2026. Rev. Terry Smith will be officiating. Interment will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore, OH at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
