Toledo Lucas County Public Library patrons can now learn American Sign Language (ASL) with their Toledo Library card.
The new, free online course is available through Mango Languages, a leading provider of language-learning software for thousands of libraries and their patrons for over 10 years.
Mango Languages has partnered with ASL Inside, one of the leading ASL learning platforms, to develop the course. It features self-paced lessons, instant visual comparisons for accurate sign modeling, multiple sign models to help users experience a variety of ASL accents, and more.
Toledo Library customers can access the ASL course online at learn.mangolanguages.com and through the Mango Languages Learning app with their library card. The app is available for download in both the App Store and on Google Play.
