Enjoy a spine-tingling evening walking the dark wooded grounds of Spiegel Grove by lantern light and stopping in the historic Hayes Home during Spirit Stories at Spiegel Grove on Friday, Nov. 7.

At each stop, hear creepy tales of ghosts, legends and other-worldly phenomena. This year, the theme will focus on ghostly stories regarding animals.

Before and after your tour, warm yourself by the campfire and enjoy popcorn, apple cider and hot chocolate.

Lantern tours, which last about an hour, will be offered from 7-10 p.m., with the last tour leaving at 9 p.m. Tours depart every 10 minutes.

Tickets required and are $15 for non-members and $10 for Hayes Presidential members.

Nov. 7-10: 50th Anniversary Edmund Fitzgerald Tribute National Museum of the Great Lakes, 1701 Front St., Toledo. The SS Edmund Fitzgerald, one of the largest and most famous freighters to sail the Great Lakes, sank during a fierce storm on Lake Superior on Nov. 10, 1975, taking the lives of all 29 crew members aboard.
