Morgan Lalonde also went 1-for-2 with a run, two walks, and one double in the leadoff spot while picking up the win in the circle. Oak Harbor jumped out to a 4-0 lead in a win over Eastwood. Haas (2-for-3, R, 2 RBI, 3B) and Baumgartner (2-for-3, 2 RBI, 2B) led the offense. Lalonde struck out nine over seven complete while allowing seven hits and two walks.
LAKE (8-2, 1-1 NBC) split a pair of games, falling to Oak Harbor in league play, 6-4, before defeating Napoleon, 8-1, in non-league play.
The loss to Oak Harbor featured a two-hit performance from Jada Jerew, who also scored a run. Caity Extine went 1-for-3 with a double, and Norah Demory went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Myah Wypyhoski also batted 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Sailor Lindell struck out two in a scoreless sixth in relief.
Parker Dart went seven complete and struck out five while allowing just two hits and two walks in the win over Napoleon. She also batted 3-for-3 with a triple and four RBIs offensively, while Wypyhoski (2-for-4, 2 R, RBI) and Maddison Ankney (2-for-3, 2 R, RBI) added multi-hit games. Lindell knocked in a pair, while Demory had one run and one walk. Extine double once in three at bats and scored a run.
GIBSONBURG (7-2, 3-1 SBC) opened the week with a 29-3 win over Northwood before falling to Woodmore, 11-8.
The Golden Bears racked up 16 hits against Northwood with five players recording two hits, including Mia Brink (2-for-3, 4 R, 2B), Ava Amor (2-for-2, 3 R, 2 RBI, BB), Hannah Crispen (2-for-5, R), Emily Henderson (2-for-3, 2 R, 3 RBI, 2B), and Katie Hall (2-for-4, 2 R, RBI, BB). Alivia Wauford, Allison Schroeder, Camryn Donnell, and Lacey Castillo each doubled once, and Mackenzie Muntz tripled, scored three times, and produced three RBIs. Hall tallied the win in relief, striking out two over three innings while allowing four hits and one walk.
Despite three scoreless frames and six strikeouts from Wauford to open the game, which helped Gibsonburg open up a 6-0 lead, Woodmore scored eight times in the fourth off a reliever to produce an eventual win. EASTWOOD (9-3, 2-2 NBC) dropped a pair of league games to Otsego, 7-4, and Oak Harbor, 5-2, on the week.
Despite 15 strikeouts from Kenzie Hady in a complete game effort, Otsego racked up four doubles and five unearned runs to knock off Eastwood. Offensively, Addy Loomis and Hady had the lone hits for the Eagles, although Hady, Karly Wasserman, Sophia Rankin, and Loomis had one RBI apiece. Hady blasted a home run, and Wasserman stole one base.
The loss to Oak Harbor featured two-hit performances from Hady (2-for-4) and Wasserman (2-for-3, R, BB) along with a double, an RBI, and one walk from Reagan Sabo. Hady struck out seven over six complete. Every run Oak Harbor scored was unearned.
CLAY (8-3, 5-1 NLL) won two of its three contests, knocking off Northview, 7-6, and Bowling Green, 19-8, while falling to Findlay, 9-0.
In the win over BG, Clay drilled five home runs. Maddie Franke had a three-run blast in the bottom of the first to tie the game. Lily Cordell added a three-run home run to give the Eagles the lead in the second, and Ellie Haynes added a solo shot later in the same inning. She added her second home run the next inning, a three-run shot, and Zoi Zahradnik hit a two-run home run two batters after her. Jenna Swartz picked up the complete game win in the circle.
The come-from-behind win over Northview saw Clay trailing 6-3 heading to the seventh. Haynes led off with a single, and Franke doubled. After a pair of outs, Haynes scored on a grounder, and Franke scored on a double by Emily Cordell. Vanessa Wilk later gave the Eagles the lead with a two-run single to right. Emily Cordell picked up the win in the circle, while Zahradnik had the save with a scoreless seventh. Franke finished 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, two RBIs, one steal, and three runs scored.
In the loss to Findlay, Lily Cordell, Zahradnik, and Emily Cordell each had hits.
GENOA (4-5, 2-3 NBC) split a pair of league games, defeating Rossford, 6-5, and falling to Otsego, 9-0.
Rachel Buehler struck out five over five-plus innings to pick up the win against Rossford, while Mila McQueary struck out one in two scoreless innings of relief to earn the save. Offensively, the group of Mya Colvin, Kylie Pennington, Kody Teet, Rilee Popovich, and Izzy West had one hit apiece. West led the team with two RBIs, while Makayla Magrum and Popovich had two walks each.
Colvin, Teet, West, and Buehler combined for the four hits against Otsego. Pennington had two walks among the team’s five. Colvin also swiped a base.
WOODMORE (3-9, 2-1 SBC) earned a pair of league wins over SJCC, 21-2, and Gibsonburg, 11-8, while falling to Tiffin Calvert, 9-0.
In the win over SJCC, the Wildcats racked up 11 hits, which included solid performances from Kelsey Kaylor (2-for-2, 2 R, 3 RBI, 2 BB), Camille Strong (1-for-1, 3 R, 3 RBI, 3 BB), Liv Scavio (2-for-3, 2 R, 5 RBI, BB, HR), Aubrey Becerra (2-for-4, 2 R, 2 RBI, 2B), Payton Whitcum (1-for-3, 3 R), Alexys Becerra (2-for-4, 2 R, 2 RBI, 2B), Izzy Helmke (1-for-2, 3 R, 3 BB), Elena Reif (2 R, 4 BB) and Rebekah Wauford (2 R, BB). Madison Huenefeld went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI against Gibsonburg. Camryn Haas, Averey Perlaky, and Kaydence Miller added one hit apiece.

The Indians drew 24 walks and four hit batters in the win over Rogers with seven different players tallying at least three walks. Jacqueline Martinez-Veladiz went 1-for-1 with five walks and an RBI. Rayne Dehring was 3-for-4 with two runs and two walks. Cli Onyango-Doria and Destiny Garza produced a combined eight runs, six walks, and five RBIs in the 1-2 spots in the lineup, while Garza had two hits. Garza also picked up the win in relief, striking out one over 2.2 innings.
CARDINAL STRITCH (0-5, 0-2 TAAC) dropped games to Emmanuel Christian, 19-0, St. Mary Central Catholic, 31-2, and Northwood, 29-19, during the week.
