The Eagles rallied to tie Whitmer at four through five innings, but the visiting Panthers scored five runs over the final two frames to claim the win. Hady and Addy Loomis responded from tough outings in the circle against Whitmer with dominant efforts against Delta. In the opener of the doubleheader, Hady struck out 15 and walked just one over seven no-hit innings, while Loomis struck out five and allowed just one hit over three frames in the second game to pick up the win. Rankin delivered a pair of strikeouts over two scoreless frames in relief.

LAKE (4-1) split a pair of games during the week, falling 5-0 to undefeated Elmwood before responding with a 5-1 win over Clyde in a rematch of last year’s district final.
The Flyers tallied five hits from five different players against Elmwood. They had multiple baserunners in the fourth and fifth innings but couldn’t push across any runs.
Sailor Lindell struck out 12 batters while allowing five hits, three walks, and one run (zero earned) in a complete game victory against Clyde. The Flyers produced all five of the team’s runs in the second inning. Jada Jerew (2-for-3, two RBIs) had the lone multi-hit effort, while Myah Wypyhoski, Parker Dart, and Lindell also delivered RBI hits in the second.
GIBSONBURG (3-1) produced a hard-fought 2-1 road win over Ayersville in its lone game of the week. The hosts took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but Leah Hall’s RBI double and a go-ahead RBI single from Elly Evarts in the fifth allowed for the winning margin. Ava Amor had one of her best outings of the season in the circle, striking out 11 and allowing just four hits and one run with zero walks in a complete game. Mackenzie Muntz added a pair of hits and a run for the Golden Bears.
OAK HARBOR (3-2) earned wins over Margaretta (5-4) and Bowling Green (10-0 in six innings).
A four-run fifth inning proved to be key to the win over Margaretta. Addison Laubacher went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs, one run, one walk, and one stolen base to lead the offense, while Morgan Lalonde (1-for-4, R, RBI) and Karder Haas (1-for-4, R, RBI) also had notable performances. Lalonde went the distance in the circle, producing 11 strikeouts while allowing five hits, one walk and four runs (two earned).
The top of the lineup raked for the Rockets against Bowling Green. Lalonde was 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBIs, a home run, and a pair of doubles. Haas went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs. Laubacher was 2-for-4 with three runs, a home run, one steal, and two RBIs. Haylee Robinson was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Kaitlyn Meloche and Payne Lohman also had one hit and one RBI apiece. Lalonde struck out 11 while allowing four hits and one walk in the complete game win.
CLAY (2-1) registered a 5-1 win over Archbold in its lone game of the week. Emily Cordell starred in the circle, striking out 11 with just four walks and three hits allowed in a complete game victory. Maddie Franke went 3-for-4 offensively with a double, a triple, an RBI, and a pair of stolen bases. Vanessa Wilk was 2-for-3 with a stolen base, and Lily Cordell was 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base.
GENOA (1-1) surged past Waite, 21-0, in its lone game of the week. Makayla Magrum went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Kylie Pennington was 2-for-2 with four runs, two RBIs, two walks, and a triple to lead the offense. Kody Teet (1-for-2, 2 R, 2 RBIs, BB, 2B), Rilee Popovich (1-for-2, 2 R, 2 RBIs, 2 BB), Bella LeGare (1-for-4, R, 2 RBIs), and Kaydence Macrae (1-for-2, 3 R, RBI, BB, 3B) also had notable performances. Magrum started in the circle, allowing three hits and zero walks with two strikeouts, but didn’t qualify for the win since she only pitched two innings. LeGare produced the decision, tossing the final three innings. She allowed one hit and three walks while striking out one.
WOODMORE (0-4) suffered a pair of losses to undefeated Elmwood (12-0 in five innings) and Rossford (6-2). Camille Strong, Aubrey Beccera, and Elena Reif had Woodmore’s three hits against Elmwood. Kelsey Kaylor (2-for-4, R) and Strong (2-for-3, BB) had multi-hit outings against Rossford, while Liv Scavio was 1-for-2 with a run and a pair of walks. Beccera also had two walks, while Payton Whitcum went 1-for-4 with an RBI.
WAITE (0-1) suffered a 21-0 loss to Genoa in its lone game. Tashiana Moore, Destiny Garza, Natasha Torres, and Jac Martinez combined for the team’s four hits, while Garza, Martinez, and Sophie Kinsey each drew a walk. Sa’Quoya Dean also had one stolen base.
NORTHWOOD (0-1) and CARDINAL STRITCH (0-0) did not see any action during the week.
