Oak Harbor (14-4, 9-0 NBC) picked up a pair of victories to remain undefeated in league play, beginning with a hard-fought double overtime victory over Genoa (69-64). They also defeated Maumee (48-35).

 Reghan Markley had a team-best 17 points against Genoa, including 11 in the first quarter. Karder Haas and Brooke Tabbert each added 15 points, which included seven points from Tabbert in extra time. Laney Schmidt also reached double figures with 12, and Kendall Gaines had seven.

Gaines and Haas had a team-best 12 points each in the win over Maumee, where Markley added seven and Schmidt had six.

Eastwood (10-7, 5-5 NBC) split four games during the most recent stretch, with wins over Maumee Valley (64-49) and Otsego (48-29), and losses against Genoa (52-39) and Lake (41-31).

Karly Wasserman registered a team-best 13 points against Genoa, while Kenna Nelson (8) and Gracyn Reiter (7) combined for 15. Mack Miller led the Eagles with eight rebounds.

Karissa Nelson had a team-best 14 points, 12 rebounds, and six steals in the win over Maumee Valley. Kenna Nelson added 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Karly Wasserman had 13 points. Reiter added 11 points and 19 rebounds, while Lauren Schuerman had six points and seven steals.

Although nobody reached double-figures, Eastwood was led by nine points from Ava Kachmarik against Lake, as well as eight apiece from Karissa Nelson and Kenna Nelson.

The Eagles finished off the stretch with a win over Otsego at BGSU, highlighted by 15 points from Kachmarik and 10 from Sophia Zunk. Kenna Nelson and Karissa Nelson produced six points and five assists each.

Lake (11-8, 5-6 NBC) went 3-1 during its two-week stretch, including wins over Otsego (37-28), Rossford (41-34), and Eastwood (41-31). The lone loss was to Genoa (62-31).

The Flyers were led against Otsego by Brooke Wiley’s 12 points. Paige Allen (7), Rowan Brossia (6), and McKinly Johnston (6) added 19 combined. Wiley added 19 more in the win over Rossford, which included 18 in the second half. Allen contributed six in the win, as well.

Wiley poured in a game-high 17 points against Eastwood, including 11 in the second half. Allen, Aubrina Morales, and Gabby Moreno added five points each. Wiley added 14 more points against Genoa, and Morales added six in the loss.

Northwood (3-13, 2-8 SBC) knocked off New Reigel (50-42) while dropping contests to Danbury (35-24), Hopewell-Loudon (45-16), Rossford (43-22), and St. Mary Central Catholic (52-45) during a busy stretch.

Kadience Karmol led the Rangers with seven against Danbury, while Alyssa Boubon had six. The trio of Emily Reichow, Camryn Haas, and Averey Perlaky had three apiece. Perlaky added a team-best six points against Rossford, while Karmol had five.

Karmol led the way against St. Mary CC with 11 points, and Reichow chipped in 10. Kayla Schlegel and Perlaky contributed seven each.

The win over New Riegel featured a game-best 20 points from Karmol, along with 14 from Reichow and five from Marissa Gutekunst.

Genoa (13-5, 7-2 NBC) defeated Eastwood (52-39), dropped a double overtime heartbreaker to Oak Harbor (69-64), and defeated Lake (62-31).

Makenna Moritz registered a game-best 21 points against Eastwood, and she was assisted by 12 points from Kylie Pennington and 10 from Keira Combs. Makenna Moritz added a game-high 28 points against Genoa, and Addi Moritz chipped in 17 while reaching 1,000 career points. Pennington rounded out the double-digit scoring with 15.

Makenna Moritz added a game-high 20 points while joining her sister with 1,000 career points in the win over Lake. Addi Moritz added 17 in that win, while Pennington had 12. Combs (6) and Adrianna Williams (5) combined for 11.

Gibsonburg (13-4, 11-0 SBC) went undefeated during the week with wins over SJCC (65-34), Tiffin Calvert (54-36), Woodmore (47-40), and Lakota (59-27).

Elly Evarts, who became the program’s all-time leading scorer in the win over Lakota, opened her record-breaking stretch with 14 points, seven assists, five steals, and four rebounds against SJCC. Ava Dawson (13), Leah Hall (12), and Emily Henderson (11) also scored in double figures. Henderson finished a double-double with 11 rebounds, while Hall added six. Dawson had four assists and four steals.

Evarts poured in 24 points, along with five steals, five rebounds, and two assists against Tiffin Calvert. Emma Jividen added 13 points, while Hall had 11 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Evarts added 27 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one block in a hard-fought win over Woodmore. Hall contributed 14 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Henderson added six rebounds.

Evarts concluded the week with 17 points, seven assists, and six rebounds against Lakota. Hall added 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Mackenzie Muntz and Ava Dawson had six points apiece.

Cardinal Stritch (5-13, 1-3 TAAC) defeated Waite (47-21) while falling to Maumee Valley (64-59), Edon (45-43), and Rogers (61-34).

Amaya Hill had 30 points and 14 rebounds against Maumee Valley, and Morgan Kennedy added 16.

Kennedy added 17 points against Edon, while Hill chipped in 16 points and 14 rebounds. Hill had 11 points and 13 rebounds against Waite, while the group of Kennedy (9), Makayla “KK” Miltz (7), and Emma Barber (6) combined for 22 points.

Woodmore (11-5, 9-2 SBC) defeated St. Mary Central Catholic (54-12), Old Fort (63-19), and Tiffin Calvert (49-38), while falling to Gibsonburg (47-40).

Woodmore jumped out to a 30-1 lead through one quarter against St. Mary CC, getting a game-best 20 points from Kelsey Kaylor along with eight points apiece from Keira Travis and Abbie Schmeltz.

The Wildcats recorded another easy win over Old Fort behind a game-high 15 points from Ariana Florio, along with 14 from Kaylor and 11 from Izzy Helmke.

A tough loss to Gibsonburg featured a team-high 15 points from Travis, while a win over Tiffin Calvert featured 12 more from Travis.

Waite (1-14, 0-5 City League) dropped contests to Fremont Ross (81-36), Woodward (76-37), and Danbury (71-67). Stats weren’t reported.

Clay (2-14, 2-6 NLL) defeated Springfield (53-23) before dropping matchups to Fremont Ross (60-29), Southview (42-23), and Napoleon (55-17). Stats weren’t reported.
