Below is a listing of results and stats from the fifth week of the boys soccer season. This is for matches played through Sept. 14. Information is gathered via MaxPreps, coach email submissions and team social media accounts. A lack of individual stats listed means none of those sources provided that information.

The Eastwood boys soccer team defeated Rossford 5-1 at home in their lone match of the week. Brady Mohr and Austin Miller scored twice apiece, while Jonas Bushman added the other tally. Bushman led the team with two assists, while Miller and Jacob Connell provided one helper each. Caden Oberhouse produced three saves in goal. The Eagles (5-2-1, 3-1 NBC) will travel to Maumee on Wednesday before concluding the week against Liberty Center at home on Saturday.

The Oak Harbor boys soccer team went 2-1 last week with wins over Northwood, 3-0, and Columbian, 5-2. Zavier Hess scored twice against the Rangers, while Owen Gradel added the third goal. Hess added a hat trick against Columbian while Gradel and Xavier Flower also scored. They concluded their week with a 4-1 loss to Bryan where Gradel scored once again. The Rockets (6-4, 2-1 NBC) will travel to Genoa on Wednesday and Emmanuel Christian on Saturday.

The Genoa boys soccer team went 0-2 last week with losses to Otsego, 4-3, on the road and to Delta at home, 7-4. In the narrow defeat to the Knights, Genoa was led offensively by the trio of Jayden Kutchenriter, Max Huss, and Gavin Goodman, who each scored a goal, while Kutchenriter (2) and Goodman (1) combined for the assists. Joey Caughorn made five saves in goal. After falling behind 4-0 to Delta, Goodman got the Comets on the board before adding another later. Huss and Caughorn also scored. The Comets (2-7, 0-4 NBC) will face Oak Harbor on Tuesday and Woodmore on Saturday.

The Lake boys soccer team dropped a pair of matches to Maumee, 4-1, and Bowling Green, 5-2, on the road last week. Stats were not submitted. The Flyers (6-3, 2-1 NBC) will be back in action Wednesday against Otsego before concluding the week on the road at Evergreen.

The Woodmore boys soccer team was not in action last week. The Wildcats (1-3) will travel to Liberty Center on Tuesday and Genoa on Saturday.

The Clay boys soccer team went 1-1-1 last week, opening with a 1-1 tie at Ross before picking up a 3-1 win on the road over BG, and concluding their action with a 3-2 loss at Maumee. No stats were reported by the Eagles (2-4-3, 1-2-2 NLL), who will host Southview on Tuesday and travel to Northview on Thursday.

The Northwood boys soccer team went 0-2 last week with losses to Oak Harbor, 3-0, and Archbold, 4-1. Stats were not submitted. The Rangers (3-7, 3-3 SBC) will travel to Rossford on Saturday.
