The Penta Career Center recently showcased the skills of their job training students at the DECA Diamonds competition, which was hosted at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center.
Lake’s Alexis Lathrop was awarded first place for interviewing. Oak Harbor’s Austin Keller took home second-place awards for cash register and grocery bagging, while Lathrop also earned a third-place award for laundry operations.

Third Place: Ryan Gardner (Otsego) for Interviewing; Emma Briskey (Springfield) for Power Point Presentation; Jacob Brandt (Swanton) and Maeve Laflin (Perrysburg) for Team Poster Presentation; Ryan Gardner (Otsego) for Cash Register; Jacob Brandt (Swanton) for Restaurant Busing; and Alexis Lathrop (Lake) for Laundry Operations.
