Pemberville set to host fifth annual Autumn Brew Hop on Sept. 12

The Pemberville Independent Merchants Association (PIMA) invites the community to the Fifth Annual Autumn Brew Hop on Saturday, Sept. 12 in downtown Pemberville on East Front Street. This family-friendly celebration combines local, handcrafted non-alcoholic brews, live music, family games, shopping, dining, raffle prizes and small-town charm.

From 6-9 p.m., guests are encouraged to “hop” from business to business sampling unique handcrafted, non-alcoholic Autumn Brews created by participating merchants. Each $15 commemorative mug includes a ticket for free samples at every stop along the Brew Hop route. New this year, ticket holders are encouraged to turn in their completed tickets for a chance to win one of several raffle prizes.

Attendees can enjoy an evening of entertainment with a live band, as well, with Parallel Universe performing from 6-10 p.m. Their performance is sponsored by Frobose Market IGA.

Eventgoers can purchase mugs in advance at Baker Insurance, Beeker’s General Store, Belle Fleur, Casa Rio, The Comfy Cactus, Country Cupboard and Str8 Juice. Supplies are limited, so early purchase is encouraged.

“This is a wonderful event to promote our local businesses and enjoy an evening of good family fun,” Portage Valley Hearing’s Rebecca Krukemyer said.

The Autumn Brew Hop continues to be a highlight of the fall season in Pemberville, blending creativity, community spirit and entertainment in one memorable evening.
