Serving Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood Counties
The USA Patriots veteran amputee softball team came to the Oregon Recreation Center on July 19 to compete in the Boots vs. Badges exhibition game against the Oregon Fire and Police Departments.
The event, in partnership with the city of Oregon, is an effort to raise awareness and donation funds for the team.
The non-profit organization then uses the donations to send youth amputees across the nation to summer softball camps each year to help promote inclusion.
