Tressel to speak at 9/11 ceremony in Gibsonburg

Ohio Lieutenant Governor Jim Tressel will be the keynote speaker at Gibsonburg’s 9/11 ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.

The event will be held at The Public Safety Service Memorial in Williams Park, which was dedicated on Sept. 11, 2016 with a promise to the community that every year thereafter would be a gathering at the site to remember and honor those who lost their lives.

The centerpiece of the memorial is a 36-foot long, 7,000-pound section of the main antenna mast that was atop the North Tower of the World Trade Center prior to the events of 9/11.
