The Lucas County Fairgrounds will be the host site for a Cloverbud camp hosted by the Lucas County 4-H on June 13.
This fun-filled day camp, intended for kids ages 5-8, will feature hands-on 4-H activities, outdoor exploration, and engaging tropical experiences. Campers will have the opportunity to learn about tropical environment, participate in interactive projects, and enjoy nature.
“This opportunity is perfect for area students kicking off summer break who want to engage in activities, learn fun skills, and make new friends at the Lucas County Fairgrounds,” Jen Burns, The Ohio State University Extension of Lucas County’s Extension Educator, said. “Wear comfortable clothing and bring your enthusiasm — all other supplies provided.”

The OSU Extension is a non-profit educational resource for Lucas County.
Included within Extension is 4-H—an informal educational youth development program offered to individuals ages 5 to 19. Besides camping and fair, 4-H Youth Development has additional opportunities for in-school and after-school programming in Lucas County.
