Lowell Frederick Rothert, originally from Elmore, Ohio passed away after a brief illness in Concord, California on November 15 at age 88. Lowell was the son of Ralph and Bertha Rothert. Bertha died when Lowell was seven months old. Ralph married Mildred Reynolds and together they raised Lowell and his older brother Galen.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn; his children David, Donna and Douglas; and his grandchildren Kiefer, Porsha, George, Sophie and Leo.
There will be a service in late Spring. Memorial gifts may be made to Rebuilding Together Tri County, P.O. Box 1111, Okemos, MI 48805-111, that helps low-income seniors, veterans and those with disabilities to remain safe in their homes. A home repair will be done in honor of Lowell.
