Serving Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood Counties
Kirwen’s Supermarket, where owners announced a few months ago that it would be staying open while continuing to search for a buyer, has announced once again that the store will be closing. A sign on the store read: “We want to sincerely thank our faithful customers and community for supporting us throughout the 103 years our family has been in business. Your loyalty, patronage, and kindness have meant more to us than words can express.” The store’s owners also said to keep checking back in store and on their website for more announcements regarding sales and a final closure date.
