Clay (2-1) captured a 9-0 win over Fremont Ross in its lone matchup of the week. No stats were reported.
Eastwood (2-0-1) battled to a scoreless tie against Ottawa-Glandorf in its lone match. Ava Kachmarik saved eight shots while posting her shutout.
Genoa (2-1) lost a regular season match for the first time since Sept. 17, 2024, with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Ottawa Hills on Aug. 29. Cora Edens made seven saves in goal for the Comets.
Lake (1-2) trounced Swanton 17-0 in its lone matchup as Savannah Little (5) and Sagan Schroyer (4) combined for nine goals. The trio of Morgann Blandin, Paige Allen and Lillyann Pieper each added two scores, while Maddie Solomon and Tessa Heckman had one apiece. Little and Grace Kistler each added three assists, and Macey Maguire added two. Schroyer, Allen, Solomon, Pieper, Kali Kos and Heckman had one helper apiece.
Northwood (0-4) lost to Upper Sandusky (14-0) and Clyde (4-0) during the week. Emma Kirkpatrick stopped 23 shots in goal against the Rams in the week’s opener, and Emma Pendrey made 13 saves against Clyde. Skylar Ledzianowski had a shot on goal, as well. In an earlier matchup against Swanton on Aug. 22, the Rangers had 12 shots on goal, including four apiece from Ledzianowski and Raegen Pendrey, along with three from Mya Calvillo and one from Kaydence Miller. Kirkpatrick made 32 saves in that outing.
Oak Harbor (4-0) stayed undefeated with wins over Toledo Christian (4-0) and Otsego (5-1). Claire Blausey had a huge week, recording a hat trick against the Knights after a two-goal performance against Toledo Christian. Olivia May and Skyler Schultz also scored once apiece against Toledo Christian, while Gabs Neiderhouse and Schultz tallied one each against Otsego, which also came into the meeting undefeated. The lone goal allowed by Haylee Robinson during the week came on a penalty kick.
Waite (0-1) fell to Start in its season opener, 8-1. No stats were reported.
Woodmore (1-0) took down Liberty Center 3-2 in its season opener behind a game-winning goal from Karli Heins with 1:20 remaining. Bailey Meggitt and Taylor Hill scored early goals in the first half before the visitors tied it, which set up the winner from Heins. Abbie Schmeltz made 10 saves in goal.
