Genoa High School junior Michael Williamson recently participated in the 75th annual Toledo-area American Institute of Architects (AIA) high school design competition.
Williamson was tasked with designing an addition to Toledo’s Aurora house, which shelters women and children in need. He was asked to develop a site plan that met required features, which also required creativity when adding new architectural improvements that are now available.
Williams plans on taking part in the competition next year.
