Downtown Rossford’s popular summer series, Stroll the Street, returns for its eighth year Tuesdays from 4:30-7:30 p.m. through Aug. 11.
Stroll the Street features live music, food trucks, arts and crafts, and family-friendly “Pavilion Pop-Ups” in Edward Ford Memorial Park.
In addition, Stroll the Street will continue to feature live music from 5:30-7:30 p.m., with local bands ranging from rock and blues to folk and country tunes, and Rossford’s classic polkas.
Twenty four food trucks will rotate throughout the summer for a wide selection of delicious meals and cold treats as they line up on Dixie Highway each Tuesday. Arts and craft vendors will offer their creative wares throughout the Edward Ford Memorial Park.
“We’ll also have our Super Cruise back, sponsored by Laramie & Sons’ Cards & Collectibles, with music from Cruisin’ Zeake on Tuesdays, June 16, July 21, and Aug. 11 from 4-7 p.m.,” said Beth Genson, executive director of the Rossford Convention & Visitors Bureau.. “Look for some great classic cars lining the parking lot of the Rossford Methodist Church.”

Capt. Scupper’s Kid’s Club
The National Museum of the Great Lakes is inviting families to dive into creativity, science and engineering this summer with the return of Capt. Scupper’s Kid’s Club, a hands-on Saturday series designed for children and their adults.
Taking place throughout June, July and August in the museum’s Great Lakes Community Education Center, each themed month will offer unique activities that encourage kids to build, experiment and discover through interactive learning experiences inspired by the Great Lakes.
All activities are included with museum admission and are free for museum members and Museums for All participants. Registration is encouraged.
“Capt. Scupper’s Kids Club is a great way to celebrate creativity, discovery and fun,” said Cris Shell, NMGL experience manager. “From boat building to water experimentation to LEGO fun, it's sure to be a summer of play that kids and caretakers will remember long after the season ends.”

‘It’s Friday’
On three summer Fridays, the Toledo Museum of Art will offer a special opportunity for visitors – the chance to reset through music, movement, making and art appreciation.
The event is for anyone – girl’s night, dates or even solo adventurers – who wants to end their week with creativity and community.
“It’s Friday” will be held on June 5, July 24 and Aug. 14 from 6-8 p.m. in the Glass Pavilion. Each event will offer live music, cash bar and a different guided activity. While the event is free and open to the public, activities cost $30 per person with members receiving a 10% discount. Admission to the exhibit, “Cursed! ‘Unofficial Galaxies’
It is a period of galactic celebration at Imagination.
Scientists have won a victory and Jedi, Sith and Padawans are all invited to join the excitement at the new exhibit, “Unofficial Galaxies.”
The exhibit includes one of the world’s largest Star Wars fan collections featuring more than 100 pieces of iconic memorabilia that showcase 22 different scenes from across the entire saga.

Freighter Golf on the Schoonmaker
Enjoy a month-long hole-in-one contest onboard the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship at the National Museum of the Great Lakes in June.
Included with Museum Ship admission, this unique experience invites visitors to explore the NMGL while taking a swing (or two) on custom-built putting greens.
Freighter Golf features five holes, each representing one of the Great Lakes. As you try your shot on the course, explore iconic landmarks from each lake and immerse yourself in the history and beauty of the region.
Anyone who scores a hole-in-one will be entered to win tickets to the Greater Toledo Classic golf tournament and a free museum membership.

Pin Seeker Indoor Golf opens in Rossford
Rossford welcomed a new entertainment and recreation destination with the opening of Pin Seeker Indoor Golf, a locally owned indoor virtual golf venue located in Crossroads Centre Shopping Center, Olde US 20 - Fremont Pike.
Pin Seeker offers guests a premium golf and social experience featuring the latest GolfZon TwoVisionNX simulators. The technology includes dynamic moving swing plates and highly accurate ball tracking to recreate the feel of playing on a real course.
Golfers of all skill levels can experience more than 300 world-renowned courses from around the globe, including iconic destinations such as Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black, Kiawah Island, Spyglass Hill and Harbour Town.

‘Cocktails with Capys’
African Safari Wildlife Park invites guests ages 21+ to enjoy a one-of-a-kind evening of animal encounters, drinks, and conservation support during “Cocktails with Capys” on Thursday, June 12, from 6-8 p.m.
The after-hours event will feature a 1.5-hour come-and-go capybara feeding experience, giving guests the opportunity to interact with and feed the park’s family of capybaras. Guests will also enjoy rotating animal feeding opportunities with tortoises, budgies and goats throughout the evening.
Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase, with all drink proceeds benefiting African Safari’s Guardian of Wildlife Conservation Fund, which supports conservation efforts and wildlife-focused initiatives.
