Daniel James Sandwisch, 41, of Woodville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 4, 2025. He was born on October 10, 1983 in Toledo and graduated from Clay High School in 2002. While in high school, Dan received a prestigious statewide award in computer technology from the University of Toledo, which helped launch his entrepreneurial career.

Dan was co-owner of the Delving Company in Elmore and had previously worked for SleepTite and ADN Safety Solutions. Known for his passion for technology and building friends through his work, he dedicated his life to creating businesses that supported his community.

A member of Solomon Lutheran Church in Woodville, Dan served on the church council as the treasurer.

He is survived by his daughter, Makayla Sandwisch; mother, Cindy (Michael) Breeze; father, Jim Sandwisch; brother, Greg Sandwisch; sister, Julianna (Craig) Assenmacher; nephews Obadiah, Broderick, and Theodore; and many cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by grandparents Willis and Ruth Sandwisch, and Ward and Evelyn Logsdon.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 11, from 9–11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. service at Solomon Lutheran Church, Woodville, officiated by Pastor Alan Brown.
