Betty Lou Young-Bryant, 94, formerly of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont, OH. She was born on March 16, 1931, in Vincent, KY, to Herschel and Mary (Cox) Mainous.
She is survived by her children, Harry “Skip” (Linda) Burks, Sandra (Fred) Schnoor, and Margaret “Pegge” (Curt Brown) LaValle; grandchildren, Rick (Shelley), Melissa, Victoria, Kimberly (James), Ryan (Darren), Casey (Colleen), Anthony “Tony,” and William “Billy”; 17 great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Brenda and Frances; and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2025, from 5–8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 165 Toussaint St., Oak Harbor, OH, with an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Catawba Island Township Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
