Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School & Academy students Mario Alonzo II and Amaya Alonzo, both of Oregon, celebrated graduation this week.
Uncle Mario is a member of the graduating class of 2025, and his niece Amaya is a member of the preschool class of 2025.
Mario will attend The Ohio State University this fall while his niece Amaya continues her studies at Cardinal Stritch as she begins kindergarten. She won’t be alone on campus – her aunt Aryana is a rising sophomore, her mom Hannah Alonzo ‘15 works as a paraprofessional, and her “G” (grandmother) is Athletic Director Kelly Alonzo '97.
