Vera Johnson, who was on the 56th floor of the second twin tower on Sept. 11, 2001, will speak in the Michigan Room of the ProMedica Bay Park Hospital on Sept. 15 at 6 p.m.
The event is coordinated in conjunction with the 25-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks. For those who experienced that day, no matter where they were, won’t ever forget how everything unfolded.
When the explosion rattled Johnson’s building, her office team was told to stay put by security, but alternative decisions made saved lives. She will share her story at the event.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. for the event, which is sponsored by The Great Eastern Toastmasters Club and will be held on the lower level of the hospital.
Seating will be limited, and those interested in attending must RSVP by Sept. 8. For questions or to RSVP, contact Matt at 419-261-0579 or Fred at 815-919-8280.
