The City of Toledo has received a $2,480 grant from the Ohio Historical Records Advisory Board to preserve and make publicly accessible historic plat maps from the 1880s. The project will run through Dec. 31, 2025.

 Maumee Bay State Park will be the new host site for the 21st annual Toledo Lighthouse Festival on Sept. 13-14.

Now former Walbridge police officer Michael Ervin was criminally charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing official business, OVI and having a weapon while intoxicated after an incident Aug. 23.
