Toledo Pickle unveils updates on new state-of-the-art facility
On Oct. 22, Toledo Pickle, LLC unveiled updates at the site of its upcoming state-of-the-art pickleball and entertainment facility, part of the Metroparks Toledo Glass City Riverwalk project.
The event provided media representatives and investors with a first look at the construction progress and key updates from Toledo Pickle’s leadership team, including insights into the facility's innovative features, new partnerships, and community benefits.
The event, held at 1030 Water St. in Toledo's historic Vistula District, featured remarks from Brian Epstein and Mike Gibbons of Toledo Pickle, alongside Matt Killam from Metroparks Toledo.
“Glass City Riverwalk is the product of unprecedented public and private collaboration to transform our riverfront with active, innovative and enticing places,” said Matt Killam, chief outreach officer for Metroparks Toledo. “Toledo Pickle will continue the momentum into Vistula, where creative entrepreneurs and community leaders are investing in the future of Toledo’s first neighborhood. Together, we are creating the nation’s best riverwalk.”
Attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility's construction site, learn about the design elements, and hear how the project aims to transform the area into a premier destination for sports, recreation, and entertainment.
“We are thrilled to share the progress of Toledo Pickle and its role in revitalizing this vibrant part of Toledo,” said Epstein, managing member of Toledo Pickle. “Our vision is to create a space where the community can gather, play, and enjoy year-round activities, while contributing to the growing appeal of the Glass City Riverwalk.”
