Terra State welcomes Cahill as the new athletic director
Terra State Community College announced the appointment of Lindi Cahill as the new athletic director.
Cahill brings more than 30 years of athletic experience and expertise to lead the college’s athletic department. She comes to Terra State with a notable background as a college volleyball player for Kent State, a volleyball coach at various schools, and the co-owner operator of North Coast Showtime Volleyball. Her most recent coaching position was the varsity volleyball coach for Fremont Ross High School.
“After conducting a thorough search, what impressed us the most about Lindi, in addition to her extensive coaching and administrative success, is her fit with the college’s core values,” said President Dr. Ronald Schumacher. “We are confident that her leadership skills will extend the legacy of athletic excellence at Terra State Community College.”
As the athletic director, Cahill will oversee the college’s athletic department, which includes oversite of the seven varsity sports the college offers.
“I am excited for the opportunity to join the Terra State Community and to lead this exceptional athletic department,” Cahill said.
In addition to coaching and directing, Cahill has a Master of Arts in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Kent State University.
