Robert William Webert

Robert William Webert, age 81, of Graytown passed away on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at Riverview Healthcare, where he was a resident for the past two years. Bob was born to William and Olga Webert in Graytown, Ohio on May 26, 1942. He was a 1960 graduate of Harris Elmore High School where he was class president, played basketball, and was active in FFA. He went on to attend The Ohio State University to study Agricultural Science. Bob married the love of his life Judy (Johnson) on January 7, 1967. They were blessed with 50 years of marriage until her passing in 2017. Bob was a lifelong farmer and started a trucking company to deliver hay and straw. He went on to work for Lucky Farmers as a truck driver for several years. Bob loved spending time with his family especially at the family cottage at Wamplers Lake, taking trips to Amish country, watching the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers, and good food. He was very social and had a loyal group of friends. Going out to breakfast with his best friends was one of his favorite things to do.

Bob is survived by his daughters Robin (Troy) Pfeiffer and Lisa (Johnny) Murphy; grandchildren Cody, Nicholas, and Kali; grandpuppy Kimber; great-granddaughter Scarlett; and brother-in-law Dave (Carol) Johnson. He is also survived by his nephews and great nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife Judy, siblings Werner “Ben” and Barbara Webert, Ruth and Bill Limmer, and nephew John Webert.

A memorial service will be held at Northwood Church of God 1838 S Coy Rd Northwood, Ohio on August 5, 2023 at 11 a.m. where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to Northwood Church of God or The Auxiliary at Riverview Healthcare Campus. Private burial was held at Elliston Cemetery.
