Historical society appoints volunteer staff director
Petty Officer First Class Phillip A. Cipriani Jr., United States Navy retired, has been appointed as volunteer staff director for the Harbor View Historical Society.
Cipriani served in the U.S. 1983-2008, participating in six deployments. In addition to his duties at the historical society, he serves as a sergeant at arms for American Legion 1st District of Ohio; American Legion 2nd vice commander for Lucas County Council; Veterans Administration and Rehabilitation Chairman for the American Legion 1st District of Ohio and 1st Vice Commander Maumee Post 320, representing and assisting veterans in contacting the Veterans Administration for services. He also serves as Post Service Officer at VFW Post 9963 Walbridge.
He is currently attending Bowling Green State University, pursuing a major in History and a minor in the Italian language.
