Seminar rescheduled
The Severe Weather Safety seminar sponsored by Lake Township Police Department, originally scheduled for April 13, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Township Hall, 27975 Cummings Rd.

Genealogical Society
April meeting set
The Ottawa County Genealogical Society will meet Tuesday, April 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ida Rupp Library, 310 Madison St.
Speakers Dick Martin and John Liske will discuss, “Toledo, Port Clinton and Lakeside Railway.” The public is welcome to attend.

Oregon Democratic
Club meeting planned
Oregon Democratic Club will meet at the Oregon Senior Center, 4350 Navarre Ave. for all meetings going forward.
The club will meet every first Thursday of the month. Gatherings start with a social hour at 7 p.m., followed by a formal meeting at 8 p.m. Attendees share food, drink and fellowship.

Art show set
Oak Harbor High School will host the 54th Annual Five-County Invitational Art Show April 23 and 24.
Art teachers from Erie, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wood counties will fill the cafeteria area and auditorium lobby with artwork created by students and art educators. Various student artwork (both three-dimensional and two-dimensional) will be judged. The public is invited to view this exhibit from noon to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Road closure
Long Beach Road in Ottawa County will be closed April 18 through April 20 while crews replace a crossover at the Russell Road intersection.
Through traffic will be prohibited but local traffic will have access from Humphrey Road.
