Michael Merlin Haar

Michael Merlin Haar, age 73, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. He was born August 3, 1949 in Elmore, OH to Clyde Merlin Haar and JoAnn Gockerman Haar. He graduated from Naples (Florida) Senior High School with the class of 1967.

 After high school Mike worked as a Journeyman Electrician. He spent more than 20 years as a Superintendent for Downs Electrical Construction, working on large scale healthcare facilities in eight different states.

Mike retired to Rockledge, Florida where he was well known and well loved by his neighbors. He enjoyed fishing, cookouts with friends, riding his bicycle and caring for the neighborhood feral cat population.

Mike is survived by his daughter, LeAnn Haar Dixon (Frank). He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and JoAnn, and his brother Philip Louis Haar (9/15/2013).
