Marilyn Jean (Haar) Ferrer
Marilyn Jean Ferrer died December 1, 2023 at Edgewood Manor in Port Clinton. She was 89 years old. She was born in Genoa, Ohio to Otto and Erma (Zabel) Haar. Marilyn graduated from Genoa High School in 1952. She was an Army veteran serving at Ft. Mead, Maryland in the cryptology department for the NSA. She also worked at the telephone company in Genoa and at Franklin Printing in Toledo. Marilyn’s favorite things were reading, listening to Blue Grass and George Strait.
She is survived by her son Tony Ferrer (Mimi) of Tuscon, Arizona, 3 grandchildren, Katie Krupp, Emilie Cullen and Jacob Ferrer, 4 great grandchildren, special niece, Cindy Arndt and many other nieces and nephews. Proceding her in death are her son Larry Ferrer, her parents, brother Wayne Haar and sister Maurine Opfer.
Marilyn has requested that no services be held. Burial will be at Elliston Cemetary.
