Judith Ann Miller
Judith Ann Miller, age 79, of Woodville, OH passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. She was born on February 17, 1945 in Michigan City, IN to Robert and Hilda (Fischer) Weiss. Judith would later graduate from Isaac C. Elston High School in 1963 and the Wartburg College in 1967. On June 10, 1972 Judith married Herbert Miller at the Solomon Lutheran Church in Woodville, OH. They raised 1 son and celebrated over 42 years of marriage, before Herbert’s passing in 2015.
Judith was a teacher, first starting in Indiana, then moved and taught at Solomon Lutheran School in Woodville, OH and later retired from Woodmore Schools after 30 plus years of teaching. She was a woman of faith, and was a member of Solomon Lutheran Church, her ministries included: ELCA Women, and the Ruth Circle. She enjoyed baking, reading, cross stitch, quilting, and her cats. Judith had many loves; her greatest love was her family.
Judith is survived by her son; Andrew Paul Miller of Woodville. Special grandchild; Aryn N. Kauble-Miller of Fremont. Special stepdaughter Tina of AL. Stepdaughters: Terri and Tammy of TN. Nieces: Cindy, Beth, Pam, Amy, Deon, Deborah, Megan, Mellissa, Charlene, and Cheryl. Nephews: David, Richard, Michael, Jason David, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Brothers; Fredrick Weiss, Philip Weiss both of Michigan City IN, and James Weiss of AZ. Sister-in-law; Carol Ameling of Woodville, brother-in-law; Richard Cains of Michigan City, IN, and feline pals: Prince and Molly. In addition to her husband Herbert, she was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Suzanne Cains, nephew; Donald Weiss, sister-in-law; Carol Weiss and brother-in-law; Harold Miller.
Family and friends will be received 3-7p.m., on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11 a.m., from Solomon Lutheran Church, Woodville, OH with additional visitation from 10 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Brown. Memorial contributions may be given to: Solomon Lutheran School Endowment, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
