Doris Marie Komon

Doris M. Komon, 93, of Martin, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Ayden of Oregon. She was born on January 15, 1929 in Wauseon, Ohio to Peter and Alice Gillen. Doris was a graduate of Wauseon High School. She worked as a bus driver for Oregon City Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1990. Doris married Jerome Komon on December 30, 1948 and together they started their family. She was a member of Cooley Canal Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and reading.

Doris is survived by her children, Alice Rodriguez, Mike (Linda) Komon, Carol Zemski, Andrew (Kathy) Komon, Debra (Chuck) Pohlman and Jerome Jr (Rosaria) Komon; many grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerome; daughter, Ann Komon; granddaughter, Katherine; four sisters, eight brothers; son-in-law, Paul Rodriguez; infant son, Arnold; and great great-granddaughter, Josie.

Doris was buried at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
