Donna Lou Brinker

Donna Lou Brinker, age 91, formerly of Luckey, OH passed peacefully from this earthly life on Sept. 13, 2019. She is survived by the love of her life, George C. Brinker, age 95, to whom she was married for over 70 years; 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. This immediate family includes daughter Diane M. Brinker and her daughter Joanna Brinker Pennock; son David G. Brinker (his wife Leslie) and their 4 sons - Brian Brinker (wife Meghan and 3 children Jacob, Ella, Olivia), Clayton Brinker (wife Renee and 3 children Hadley, Graham, Brooklyn), Spencer Brinker, and Mason Brinker. Also surviving are countless nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, sisters-in-law Helen Jean Rollins, and Barbara Rollins, and half-sister Deborah Rollins. All three of Donna’s brothers pre-deceased her, Douglas Rollins (Korean War), Darrell Rollins, and Jack Rollins.

      Donna was born to Frank and Leona Rollins of Genoa, OH on July 19, 1928 and graduated from Genoa High School. After a year of university at BGSU, Donna met George Brinker of Luckey, OH, and they married on March 5, 1949. They settled and thrived in Luckey for over 53 years where their home was a welcoming place for family and friends. Both Donna and George were very involved in the Village of Luckey, Eastwood School District, Wood County, and Troy Township affairs. Both remain continuing members of Zion Lutheran Church in Luckey after many years of retirement in Sun City Center FL, where she passed.

The wishes of both Donna and George were to have their ashes interred together in Troy Township Cemetery at such time when both have left this earthly life. Therefore, a service in Luckey,  OH for family and friends will be announced at a future date accordingly.
