Destination Toledo, the Destination Marketing Organization for Toledo and Northwest Ohio, launched Round Three of the 419 Ale Trail on June 18.
A total of 32 breweries and craft beverage makers, all located within the 419 area code, are participating in this year’s 419 Ale Trail. Details on how to sign up to begin the adventure are available at 419AleTrail.com.
Destination Toledo has partnered again with technology company Bandwango to provide a free, mobile-exclusive digitized passport that will allow visitors and locals alike to check in at participating craft beverage partner locations. The Trail is gamified, meaning customers can earn points to redeem for prizes. Brochures will be available at all participating breweries that will include sign up instructions, a QR code, and a complete list of participating businesses.
“We are excited to launch round three of the 419 Ale Trail at the start of the summer travel season,” said Cathy Miller, 419 Ale Trail administrator with the Destination Toledo. “This is the perfect time to get out and explore Toledo and the surrounding communities in Northwest Ohio, all while supporting local businesses.”
Participants who sign up for the 419 Ale Trail earn points as they move along the trail that can be redeemed for a number of available prizes, plus receive entries into a grand prize drawing at the end of the year-long trail, which runs through June 17, 2024. This year’s prizes can be collected from identified Prize Hubs. A number of breweries will provide special discounts to redeem on the trail as well.
