Dean A. Martin

Dean A. Martin, 74, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in his home. He was born on March 19, 1949 to Elmer and Emma (Duffy) Martin in Toledo, Ohio. After graduating from Waite High School in 1967 he worked for 37 years working for Tecumseh Products which would later become Acklin Stamping and Ice Industries where he served as Vice Chairman of the Union for Local 12. Dean was a selfless man always willing and wanting to lend a hand to those who needed it. He was ONE OF THE LAST HARD MEN! He loved deer and duck hunting, fishing, word working, antiquing, Nascar, John Wayne and was intrigued by ghost hunting. But what he cherished most was his loving family. After years of battling pain, Dean is finally free. Only regret is that he wasn’t able to hug or see his great grandkids.

Dean is survived by his wife of 24 years, Anne, children, Amy (Bob) Seiler, Danyell (Jeff) Hall, Chris Stoffer; grandchildren, Ayden, Bailey, Robert, Becca (Peter); great-grandchildren, Everlee and Wesley; sister, Malinda (Scott) Meinhardt. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Martin; and sister, Sharon Szuch. Special mentioned to friends Ron and Darlene Saville and Vicki Lammie.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Friday, December 1, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed to charity of donor’s choice.
