Clay girls tennis fifth
The Clay girls tennis team finished fifth at the Three Rivers Athletic Conference meet, scoring 22 points to place behind Notre Dame (38), Central Catholic (37), St. Ursula (30) and Findlay (23). Fremont Ross (15) was sixth, followed by Whitmer (9) and Lima Senior (6).
Clay coach Walt Ralph says his team is young, with no seniors, “and learning on ‘the fly,’ The Eagles also finished fifth in the final team standings, which includes dual meet results.
In the Sandusky Bay Conference, the Oak Harbor doubles team of Bailey LaFountain and Vivian Kunkle are second team and singles player Grace Johnson is honorable mention.
