Christopher Bertok

Christopher Bertok, 66 of Millbury, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. Christopher has battled cancer since January of 2019, now he is reunited with family and friends that have gone on before him. Christopher was born on April 9, 1957, at St. Charles Hospital, in Oregon, Ohio to Steve and Marjorie (McKay) Bertok. Christopher was a 1975 graduate of Genoa High School, and Penta’s OWE program. Christopher worked in the family business, at Shamrock Cycle Sales of Genoa, S&R Equipment, and as a self-employed mechanic, Christopher had semi-retired the last few years.

Christopher enjoyed hunting and fishing, road trips, and working on motorcycles. He was always available when family and friends needed help with small engine repairs. There was no engine issue Christopher could not figure out. Christopher was also a fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Marjorie, sisters, Nancy (Don) Henninger, Maureen Lansford, Annette, brother Keven (Karen) and nieces Brianna and Abby. Survivors include sisters, Phyllis Ann of Elmore, OH., Julia (Roger) Kuhl of Sevierville TN., brothers David of Martin, OH., Steve of Martin, OH., Eric (Gwen) of Millbury, OH., Mathew (Christine) of Elmore, OH., and Timothy of Genoa, OH., and many nieces and nephews. 

The family is planning a private celebration of life. In leu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
