Born in Chicago, February 8, 1927, to the late Charles and Helen (Richards) Rothenbuhler. As a child her family moved to the Ironville neighborhood of East Toledo. It was there she met the love of her life, Oran. Betty graduated from Waite in 1945 while working for Saves Electric. A year later she wed during the Trianon Ballroom Pearl Harbor Day Ball. As a mother of three boys, she was employed at White Tower and Kewpee’s, later beginning a 15 year career with Oregon City Schools retiring in 1989. Always adventurous, she traveled extensively with her husband and family. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed.
