Opportunity knocks
Bob Salazar has joined GenoaBank as a financial consultant at GenoaFinancial, the bank’s financial advisory center. 

He will work out of the bank’s Crossroads and Maumee Branches, but will be available to provide financial consulting services by appointment at any of the bank’s other locations.  He will provide services and advice to help customers achieve their financial goals and objectives; serving the communities in Wood and Lucas Counties. 

Salazar, a Maumee resident, is a Certified Life Underwriter and a Charter Financial Consultant.  
Schools & skills
The Toledo Metropolitan Council of Governments will host a Transportation Summit Friday, March 30 in the Grand Lobby of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza in Toledo. For more information, go to www.tmacog.org.


At the clubs
The Eastern Maumee Bay Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual State of The Communities Address Thursday, 7:30 a.m. at the Lutheran Home at Toledo, 131 N. Wheeling in Toledo.

Representatives from Oregon, East Toledo, Northwood, Walbridge and Jerusalem Township will speak about progress in their communities in 2011 and plans for 2012.
