Richard Solomon, MD, a renowned developmental and behavioral pediatrician, has been named medical director of the Mercy Autism Program.
Dr. Solomon is founder and director of the PLAY Project based at the Ann Arbor Center for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. He is certified in general pediatrics and has been diagnosing and treating children with autism for more than 20 years.

GenoaBank announced to its shareholders at the recent Annual Meeting that net income for 2009 totaled just under $1.4 million. Meeting highlights included director elections for the 2010 term, review of the audited financial statements, and an update on the bank’s overall operations.
According to a company release, assets total about $246 million at year end, deposits total about $207 million and capital, or shareholder equity totaled more than $19.7 million.

Merchants, music,food on display at county fairgrounds
Live music, local food vendors and a showcase of Ottawa County merchants will highlight Explore Ottawa County, a family event to be held Saturday, May 8th from 4-9 p.m. at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds.
The event is part of the Ottawa County Live Here/Buy Here campaign developed by the 2010 Leadership Ottawa County class and sponsored in large part by the National Bank of Oak Harbor and Brush Wellman.
