Chevy Camaro SS to be raffled off to benefit homeless

Harbor House, a transitional housing facility dedicated to helping single homeless women recover from chemical dependency, is hosting a car raffle to raise funds to benefit its mission. The car, a 2010 Chevy Camaro SS is aqua blue metallic with white stripes. It has a sunroof, leather heated seats, a six-speed transmission, a V-8 engine with 400 horsepower and a Rally Sport Package. The car can be seen at Dunn Chevy Buick in Oregon.

Only 2,000 tickets have been printed. Cost is $50. Call 419-244-6300 or visit www.harbor-house.org.

Expansion
Memorial Health Care System and the Physical Medicine Department will host an open house Thursday, 3:00 to 5:30 pm to showcase the 216 square-foot-expansion to the Gibsonburg Physical Therapy Office. The expansion will accommodate physical,, occupational, and speech Therapy patients.   

Memorial Physical Medicine treats patients for sports medicine injuries, headaches, vertigo/dizziness, lymph edema, neck and back pain and general neurological and orthopedic surgeries.

Gibsonburg Pharmacy has earned the Award of Accreditation from the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation. The award is given to home medical equipment companies which demonstrate a high level of quality practices in both business operations and patient care techniques.

Gibsonburg Pharmacy earned the award after completing a comprehensive application process.

Established in 1981, Gibsonburg Pharmacy/Pills ‘N Packages is owned by Michael Warren.


Open house
Prohab Physical Therapy East will host an open house/customer appreciation day Saturday, June 27, Noon to 4:00 pm to celebrate its fifth anniversary with food, door prizes and raffles. The clinic is located at 4725 Woodville Road in Northwood.

Joy Gladieux of Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Homes was recently honored by The Outlook Group at its national sales conference in Chicago. Gladieux was among a number of individuals honored for their work furthering consumer education about advance funeral planning.


Golf
Hidden Hills will host its 29th annual ladies day golf outing Wednesday, July 15. The event will raise funds for the Alzheimer Association. Sponsors, donors and teams can call the club at 419-849-3693.
