Oregon residents Open coffee shop
Amazing Tans LLC. is opening The Coffee Shop at 3555 Navarre in Oregon.
The Coffee Shop will offer a variety of services, espresso based coffee drinks, pastries, a drive through window, wi-fi, television, a fireplace, leather couches, live music on Friday nights by young local musicians, and art shows and contests by students from the areas local schools.
The Coffee Shop will be a place to come and read a book by the fireplace, or to surf the Web on your lap top, states owners Marvin and Carol Belknap.
The Belknaps are Oregon residents. They also own TanPro USA located in the same building.
Carol is also co-owner of the Island Variety located at 722 Dearborn Ave. in East Toledo.
The Coffee Shop will offer a variety of espresso based drinks including mochas, lattes cappuccinos, frozen fruit smoothies, chai teas, and hot teas. Also, baked goods such as scones, muffins, cakes, and cookies.
Hours are 7:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday thru Sunday. (419) 698-JAVA (5282).
At the clubs
The Eastern Maumee Bay Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of The Communities breakfast meeting Thursday, 7:30 am at the GAF Clubhouse, 3624 Seaman in Oregon. The Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual meeting and dinner Thursday, 6:00 pm at the Community Market VFW Hall. Entertainment will be provided by Kevin Cullen and chalk artist James Andrews. 419-898-0479
