The right thing
Dr. William Martin and OptiVue are taking part in the World Sight Day Challenge through Oct. 10 to help the estimated 600 million people who are blind or vision impaired because they do not have access to an eye exam or glasses.
The challenge is the largest annual global fundraising campaign to address avoidable blindness caused by uncorrected refractive error and is supported by eye-care professional around the world.
OptiVue held a car wash last week and encourages donors to make a donation to Optometry Giving Sight at www.givingsight.org or by visiting one of OptiVue’s five area locations including the Oregon office at 2740 Navarre.
